SPS Wellness Resources

Wellness Appointment

Meet individually to discuss ways to promote and cultivate your own wellness, current concerns you may have and how to navigate available support resources. Please note this is a non-clinical service. 

The goals of these appointments can include the following:

  • Discuss specific goals for improving self or situation. 
  • Determine obstacles in meeting goals.
  • Identify potential resources and actions to address goals.
  • Connect to tailored resources both on and off-campus.

Reasons that students seek wellness appointments include but are not limited to the following:

  • Mental health and medical concerns
  • Family emergency or personal crisis
  • Basic needs concerns (food insecurity/housing)
  • Navigating University policies, procedures, and resources
  • Medical leave of absence 
  • Managing stressors
  • General well-being inquiries or referrals
