New Student ID Pick-up

To pick up your Columbia University Student ID (CUID), you must upload your ID photo. Please upload your ID photo by Friday, December 19, 2025 to receive your ID in time. Without supplying the university with an ID Photo, your CUID will not be printed. CUIDs cannot be mailed. 

Spring 2026 ID Pick-Up Schedule

Monday, January 12th

Time: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Campus Entrance Location: Wien Gate, 116th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Morningside Drive; Show the QR Code that will be emailed to you or provide your UNI and government ID

CUID Pick-Up Location: Faculty House

Tuesday, January 13th

Time: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Campus Entrance Location: Broadway Gate on 116th St or Earl Gate on 117th St; Show the QR Code that will be emailed to you or provide your UNI and government ID

CUID Pick-Up Location: Lewisohn Hall 203, Front Desk

Wednesday, January 14th

Time: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Campus Entrance Location: Wien Gate, 116th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Morningside Drive; Show the QR Code that will be emailed to you or provide your UNI and government ID

CUID Pick-Up Location: Faculty House

There will not be ID pick-up on Thursday, January 15th or Friday, January 16th. Please note that you will be able to pick up your CUID during the first week of classes if you cannot attend orientation.

First Week of Classes ID Pick-up Schedule

Tuesday, January 20th: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Wednesday, January 21st: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday, January 22nd: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM

CUID Pick-Up Location: Lewisohn Hall 203, Front Desk

Please note that IDs will not be mailed or released to friends and family. Any student with a hold on their account will not be able to pick up their ID until the hold is lifted. If students have not uploaded a valid ID photo yet, they must do so immediately.
