ID Pick-up

New Student ID Pick-up

To pick up your Columbia University Student ID (CUID), you must upload your ID photo. The deadline to upload your ID photo was Friday, August 14, 2026. If you did not upload your ID photo by this date, please do so as soon as possible as there may be a delay with receiving your CUID. Without supplying the university with an ID Photo, your CUID will not be printed. CUIDs cannot be mailed. 

In order to pick-up your CUID, all new students MUST complete the Emergency Contact Form. This form is required in order to receive your CUID.

Actuarial Science Students ONLY
Time: 8:15 AM – 12:00 PM
Campus Entrance Location: Wien Gate, 116th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Morningside Drive; Show the QR Code that will be emailed to you as you enter the gate
CUID Pick-Up Location: Faculty House

Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Students ONLY
Time: 8:15 AM – 12:00 PM
Campus Entrance Location: Wien Gate, 116th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Morningside Drive; Show the QR Code that will be emailed to you as you enter the gate
CUID Pick-Up Location: Faculty House

Applied Analytics Students ONLY
Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

*Please note that the University will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026 for Labor Day

Please note that IDs CANNOT be mailed or released to friends and family. Any student with a hold on their account will not be able to pick up their ID until the hold is lifted. If students have not uploaded a valid ID photo yet, they must do so immediately.
