Executive Case Series (ECS) - Fall 2020
Program Overview
The Executive Case Series (ECS) is a virtual Learn & Network community for executive professionals led by Subject-Matter Experts (SME) to facilitate solution-based discussions that address challenges C-suite leaders and executives face today.
This monthly event will present case studies with the following Fall 2020 topics:
- September: Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace
- December: Digital Transformation and the Future of Work
Through small group discussions, maximum 20 participants per session will have an opportunity to provide collective input on leadership related issues presented by the Subject-Matter Expert (SME).

Student Registration Form
All interested participants must fill out this form. Those who are selected to participate will receive a confirmation email. Registration will be closed when we reach the maximum 20 registrants per session.
Program Goals
- Executive learning community & capacity building
- Exclusive networking event for executive leaders
- Apply learning that bridges the scholar to the practitioner
Student & Alumni Participant Requirements
- Must be a SPS student/alum
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience
- Review case prior to the discussion
- Fully engage in conversation by active listening, asking questions, providing input and feedback, and presenting solutions

- Introduction: 6 - 6:10pm
- Case Overview: 6:10 - 6:15pm
- Small Group Breakout: 6:15 - 6:35pm
- Small Group Report-out: 6:35 - 7:25pm (5 min/group presentation + 5 min Q&A)
- Subject-Matter Expert (SME) Synthesis & Analysis: 7:25 - 7:40 pm
- Zoom poll: 7:40 - 7:45pm
- Resources and wrap up: 7:45 - 7:50 pm

- Be genuine with each other about ideas, challenges, and solutions
- Share the floor! Allow others to speak if you’ve already spoken, and speak up if you tend to be an observer
- Treat each other with dignity and respect
- Take responsibility for your own learning and contribute to collective insights
