Visiting Students

Through the Visiting Student program at Columbia University’s School of 
Professional Studies, students enrolled in a degree program at another institution may apply to take courses at Columbia.

Options include six and 12 weeks of study during the Columbia Summer, single-term study during the spring and fall, and full-academic-year study. You may earn academic credit that can be transferred back to your home institution.

Students in the following categories are eligible to apply:

A TOEFL IBT score of 100+ or 7.5+ on the IELTS is required.

Please note that it is not permissible to enroll while in B-1/B-2 status. In addition, if studying on a student visa, you must enroll in the full-time option (12 credits per term), if available, and study on campus.
