Through the Visiting Student program at Columbia University’s School of
Professional Studies, students enrolled in a degree program at another institution may apply to take courses at Columbia.
Options include six and 12 weeks of study during the Columbia Summer, single-term study during the spring and fall, and full-academic-year study. You may earn academic credit that can be transferred back to your home institution.

Students in the following categories are eligible to apply:
- Graduate Visiting Students
Enrolled in a graduate degree program at another institution
- Undergraduate Visiting Students
Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at another institution
- High School Visiting Students
3rd or 4th year high school students in the U.S.
A TOEFL IBT score of 100+ or 7.5+ on the IELTS is required.
