In partnership with the Office of the General Counsel and the Office of Judicial Affairs, the Office of the University Registrar has implemented a policy on standard transcript notations. Beginning in the fall of 2014, students who are expelled or dismissed from The School of Professional Studies will have a permanent notation placed on their transcript. Notations for temporary academic and disciplinary separations will also be placed on the transcript. If a student withdraws while a disciplinary case is pending, a temporary notation will be made until the disciplinary case is reconciled.
The amended Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 prohibits release of educational records without the written consent of the student.
All students pay a one-time transcript fee upon their first registration at the University (whether or not they subsequently withdraw from the University). After that, there is no charge for issuing transcripts. The normal processing time for transcripts is two to three business days. If you mail in your request for a transcript, you should allow several additional days for delivery to and from the University.
Copies of University transcripts and certifications of enrollment may be obtained:
You will be prompted to review and confirm your personal information and select how you would like to be notified (via text or email) when your transcript is generated and delivered electronically or mailed, based on the delivery option you select.
Next, you will select whether you would like to send an "e-transcript" or "paper transcript" and you will proceed by entering the appropriate information.
If you choose to send an electronic transcript, you will be notified in real-time and alerted when the electronic transcript is opened by its intended recipient.
