The New York Insurance Scholars program recognizes exemplary individuals who embody the qualities necessary to excel in the insurance industry. Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA)
The CICA 2021-2022 Student Essay Contest “Using Captive Insurance Solutions to Address Coverage Gaps”, sponsored by Strategic Risk Solutions, invites students to develop strategies for one of two case studies to help an organization create captive insurance solutions to provide member value and address coverage gaps for current and emerging risks. Student teams had the opportunity to learn from and interact with mentors at Strategic Risk Solutions in learning about their case and understanding key considerations in developing effective captive solutions.

In an effort to encourage, support, and reward college students who have an interest in insurance as a career/field of study, the AICP Scholarship Program awards three $1,500.00 scholarships annually to selected recipients.

The SILA Foundation Scholarship
The Securities and Insurance Licensing Association Foundation, Inc. (SILA Foundation, Inc.) is proud to offer the availability of ten one thousand dollar ($1000.00) scholarships to students focused on careers in the insurance and securities industry for use at any accredited post-secondary college or university within the continental United States.
