The National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP)
Recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in fields within NSF’s mission

The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
Supports for immigrants and children of immigrants who are pursuing full time graduate degrees.

American Association of University Women (AAUW) Career Development Grant
Provides assistance to women who are making career changes, seeking to advance in current careers, or reentering the workforce.

American Association of University Women (AAUW) Research Publication Grant
Supports women scholars conducting basic research in engineering, medicine, or physical or biological sciences; AAUW follows the National Science Foundation’s definition of basic research: “activity aimed at acquiring new knowledge or understanding without specific immediate commercial application or use.”

American Indian Foundation (IAF) William J. Clinton Fellowship for Services in India
Pairs a select number of young professionals from the U.S. and India with NGOs and social enterprises in India in order to accelerate impact and create effective projects.

Eligibility: Must commit to a ten-month project; fluent in a non-English Indian language. U.S. and Indian citizens eligible to apply.

The President’s Award of the Society for Classical Studies
Honors an individual, group, or organization outside of the Classics profession that has made significant contributions to advancing public appreciation and awareness of Classical antiquity.
