Academic Support

The Office of Student Support seeks to inform the SPS student community about the various resources available to them at Columbia University. We host academic and skill development workshops, offer peer tutoring services, and provide a large portfolio of resources to students. We also manage programs and opportunities such as the SPS English Language Conversation Tables Program, the SPS Academic & Professional Development Grant, and the SPS Academic Resource Center, which all aim to ensure that students are well-equipped to make the most of their graduate school experience.

Vision

We prepare our students to be ethical, insightful leaders and innovative problem solvers in their professional industries and global communities.

Mission

We guide students to become stakeholders in their academic journey by providing them with resources, data-driven programs, and tailored opportunities to support their success. We are committed to empowering our students to excel academically and professionally by building a network of support across Columbia University and beyond.
