Primary Season: How Super Tuesday and Critical State Primaries Elevate Policy Choices
Our third workshop of this Election 2020 special series was held as primaries, caucuses, and debates for the 2020 election cycle were fully underway, with multiple candidates voicing a spectrum of policy positions.
As voters began to coalesce around issues and candidates, foremost nonprofit policy experts were jointed by leading nonprofit policy practitioners to explore how primaries served as pressure tests for these issues as well as educational and advocacy opportunities for the nonprofit sector.
This event also featured a discussion how nonprofits can drive conversations, take advantage of an engaged public, and elevate long standing and emerging issues that affect the common good.
