Part-time

Columbia’s Master of Science in Nonprofit Management prepares graduates for leadership roles within mission-driven organizations in a wide variety of contexts, including global and community nonprofits, foundations, higher education, healthcare, the arts, or as in-demand fundraising and development experts. For the part-time option, students can either take their classes on Columbia’s New York City campus or they can complete their coursework online via Columbia’s flexible and interactive social learning platform.

Study Options in New York City and Online

Students can choose among different options to complete their course of study:

  • Part-time on Columbia’s campus in New York City. Fall entry is available.
  • Part-time in a fully online format, in which students are required to take 6 credits per term in sequence, including the summer terms. The online program uses a highly collaborative social learning platform to connect students with instructors and peers. Fall entry is available.
