Morningside Campus/Limited Access

Effective immediately, access to the Morningside campus has been limited to students residing in residential buildings on campus (Carman, Furnald, John Jay, Hartley, Wallach, East Campus and Wien) and employees who provide essential services to campus buildings, labs and residential student life (for example, Dining, Public Safety, and building maintenance staff). CCS x M.S. Nonprofit Management: Nonprofit Accelerator | 1.23.24 Nonprofit Innovation

Columbia Community Service and Columbia University School of Professional Studies | Nonprofit Management hosted our 2nd Nonprofit Accelerator Workshop designed to help nonprofits and nonprofit leaders who serve Harlem and Morningside Heights thrive and grow on Wednesday, 1.23.24.

Chandani Punia, Columbia University SPS M.S. Nonprofit Management and SIPA faculty member, demystified and shared how “innovation” can inform nonprofit leadership and the development of existing programs and services. Chandani also shared tools and approaches so leaders can create better programs, services and experiences in partnership with the communities served. She will also explore how DEIA, power, and creative capacities intersect with designing for social impact. 

Attendees left the session with a better understanding of innovation in their work along with practical skills for engaging in design and impact measurement through a human-centered lens.
