Exploring the Power of Mindfulness is an online program designed with positive psychology insights and neuroscience research to help participants experience the present moment with increased acceptance, nurturing curiosity, and promoting collaboration.
Our minds have a natural tendency to wander. As social beings, our nature is to be curious and notice potential risks. When we accept inevitable interpersonal challenges as growth opportunities, we engage in a sense of interconnectedness and train our minds to become more aware and less judgmental.
Whether you are new to mindfulness or an experienced meditator, please come join a community of participants ready to reduce stress, improve health, and increase joy at school, home, and work.
Participants will have an opportunity to practice mindful listening and meditation in 4 sections:
- Clarity: focused attention & open awareness guided meditations
- Compassion: active listening & self-compassion for collaboration
- Creativity: visualization & conscious manifesting
- Communication: leadership communication & team building

Clarity: focused attention & open awareness guided meditations
In celebration of World Mental Health Day (WMHD) let’s practice strengthening our emotional intelligence skills while promoting well-being with guided meditations connecting breath and body awareness.
Thursday, October 17 | 8:30 – 9:00 am ET
Compassion: active listening & self-compassion for collaboration
Self-compassion practices for increasing the ability to listen mindfully, and guided meditations for encouraging self-acceptance and community connections. Participants will engage in perspective-shifting exercises to express positive intentions and interconnectedness.
Thursday, October 24 | 8:30 – 9:00 am ET
Creativity: visualization & conscious manifesting
The neuroscience behind how mindfulness can support the confidence to create. We will explore the words proven to lower anxiety, and practice using emotional granularity when labeling emotions.
Thursday, October 31 | 8:30 – 9:00 am ET
Communication: leadership communication & team building
Mindful communication skills for strengthening collaboration to enhance team performance and relationship-building. Guided meditations and micro-practices to encourage confidence during conversations.
