The demand for wealth advisors is greater than ever before. Columbia University’s Master of Professional Studies in Wealth Management, set to launch in fall 2020, will train students to become wealth advisors who work with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and endowments to develop wealth and investment management strategies.

35% of current wealth managers are near retirement, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects demand for the career will increase by 27% by 2022. In fact, the Bureau projects that job growth for wealth managers is expected to grow four times higher than other occupations.
