Executive Committee of the Faculty of Professional Studies
The Executive Committee of the Faculty of Professional Studies is responsible for reviews and promotions of faculty and proposals for promotion, except that participation in deliberations and voting shall be limited to faculty holding appointments of higher rank, and voting on promotions to full professor of professional practice shall be limited to professors of professional practice who are members of the Executive Committee. The committee’s work is advisory to the dean and his subsequent recommendations to the executive vice president of the faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Promotions and Tenure Committee.

“1.1. Executive Committee: The Executive Committee of the Faculty of Professional Studies includes all associate professors of professional practice and full professors of professional practice who have passed their Major Practice Review, and other members at the Dean’s discretion. The Dean of the Faculty of Professional Studies shall be the Chair of the Executive Committee of the Faculty of Professional Studies. The Executive Committee of the Faculty of Professional Studies shall be responsible for reviews and promotions of faculty and proposals for promotion, except that participation in deliberations and voting shall be limited to faculty holding appointments of higher rank and voting on promotions to full professor of professional practice shall be limited to professors of professional practice who are members of the Executive Committee.”
