The program was honored to have members of the Organization & People practice at West Monroe Partners join Angela Finlay’s Finance for Effective Human Capital Management class this semester. Mr. Jeff Cox, Managing Director; Mr. David Hilborn, Managing Director; and Mr. David Watschke, Senior Manager all joined the class for the session on HCM Due Diligence & Post-Merger Integration.
The members of West Monroe shared information about M&A transaction types, underlying deal theses, and the creation of shareholder value. They also discussed the key organization and people value drivers in these transactions, along with client, organizational, and operational impact of these drivers. The students were able to gain tremendous insight into the real-world experiences in M&A from a people and HCM perspective.
