IKNS Seminar - Beyond Chatbots: How GenAI Can Unlock Real Business Value Through Enterprise-Wide Transformation

At our April 16th IKNS Seminar and networking reception, Katherine Koontz, IKNS lecturer and former Global Head of Data and AI for Healthcare and Life Sciences at Amazon Web Services, brings 30 years of experience in data, analytics, and AI to share practical insights on how businesses are leveraging generative AI and intelligent agents to transform their operations and create sustainable competitive advantage.
As Generative AI rapidly evolves, organizations are discovering applications that extend far beyond basic chatbots. This IKNS Seminar will explore how organizations implement AI across their operations, from automating complex back-office processes to enhancing decision-making in supply chain management. We will examine how AI complements existing business analytics rather than replacing them, and discuss emerging use cases where AI agents are streamlining workflows by connecting business performance monitoring, analysis, and recommended actions. Through real-world examples, attendees will gain insight into how organizations are strategically deploying AI to reduce cognitive burden, improve operational efficiency, and drive business value.
Join us on Wednesday, April 16th, at 6:00 pm ET, either in person at Columbia’s Italian Academy or via live stream on Zoom. A networking reception for guests will follow the in-person presentation.
