Admissions

Review the Information & Knowledge Strategy (IKNS) program qualifications below, and learn more about the application process, deadlines, and requirements.

As admissions to our programs are highly competitive, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Degree Program Qualifications

  • U.S. bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
If your post-secondary credentials are from an institution outside the United States, the Office of Admissions requires you to submit all post-secondary credentials (undergraduate and graduate) to one of the following third-party verification agencies, World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), or The Evaluation Company (TEC, formerly SpanTran) for a course-by-course evaluation for admission consideration. The Office of Admissions will use this evaluation to determine if your undergraduate degree is the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree.
  • Students must be comfortable with rapid and idiomatic spoken English.
Please review the English language proficiency requirements under the Application Requirements here to determine if proof of English language proficiency is required.
  • Demonstrated ability for critical thinking and analysis.
  • Substantial work and leadership experience in an area relevant to IKNS (combined across full time work, internships, or research projects).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Holistic approach to admission decisions.
The Admissions Committee reviews each candidate holistically. With the exception of the requirements for a bachelor's/equivalent degree and the language test scores, no application is rejected based on any individual criterion alone.
