The Columbia University HBCU Fellowship Program supports graduates of historically Black colleges and universities as they advance their professional careers across various fields and industries. Through personalized mentorship, professional development, and opportunities to build meaningful networks, the program has helped more than 100 Fellows from diverse backgrounds grow into leaders in their professions and in their communities.
The program’s newest cohort of 15 Fellows brings an impressive range of accomplishments and experiences. The group includes entrepreneurs, veterans, researchers, scholars, activists, and an HBCU White House Scholar. These students are preparing to be leaders in fields including sports, technology, nonprofits, public policy, health care, and sustainability. We look forward to seeing how they deepen their expertise through their SPS programs and how they carry that knowledge into their future careers.
