MS in NECR Webinar: Transforming Social Worlds Through Cosmopolitan Communication
Cosmopolitan Communication is a higher level form of intra-, inter-, and transpersonal communication where individuals can co-create rich narratives that embrace differences, instead of assimilating, tolerating, or dismissing them. Cosmopolitan Communication transforms our relationships with ourselves, others, and how we interact with the world at large.
Cosmopolitan Communications experts will join the MS in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program on October 28 to discuss the research and work they have conducted on this subject. Dr. Arthur Jensen will give an overview of Cosmopolitan Communication; Dr. Barbara McKay will share the work she has been doing with couples; Aline Mugisho will present on her work with women; Dr. Beth Fisher-Yoshida will highlight her work around transforming narratives. Following brief presentations, the panelists will join together in conversation and then answer questions from the audience.
