Master of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
Columbia University’s Master of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution prepares students to analyze the root causes and dynamics of conflict and to transform disputes through reasoned and resourceful interventions.
For the full-time option, students take courses on Columbia’s New York City campus. Classes are offered in the evenings or on weekends. New students start the program in the Fall semester.
The part-time program is available in two modalities: on-campus and hybrid option. On-campus part-time students take their classes on Columbia’s New York City campus. This modality takes 6-7 terms to complete, and fall or spring entry is available.
The hybrid program option takes four semesters to complete and consists of online courses and a 3-week on-campus Intensive Study session. New students start the program in the Spring semester with the online format and then join on-campus in the summer for the Intensive Study. The Intensive Study term is a full-time semester with required in-person classes.
