Expected Changes to Cyber Risk Disclosures and Governance
Regulators, lawmakers, and shareholders are focused on developing a better understanding of how organizations manage their cyber risk. Understanding the need to increase transparency, the SEC has proposed rules and a structured disclosure covering the Board of Director's cyber risk management strategy, governance, and incident response roles and responsibilities. It is expected that this guidance will be finalized in 2023.
In this panel, we discuss the changes boards will need to make to comply with these new requirements and broader implications to cyber risk management.
