Building Equity for a Post-Pandemic World
As the year unfolded, “2020” became shorthand for loss, disruption, collective trauma, turbulence, and unpredictability as a global pandemic and a deeply contentious election dominated American life. It was also a landmark year in the journey toward a more equitable society, with sustained protest and demands for social and racial justice nationwide. Now, we must move forward. In this conversation, thought leaders, faculty, and practitioners consider specific steps that individuals and institutions can take to heal a nation scarred by bitter division, and discuss tools that can be developed and deployed to facilitate difficult, but critical conversations in communities, workplaces, and over kitchen tables across the nation.
