Part-Time Program Formats
- Students in or near New York City can choose in-person evening classes on Columbia’s campus. Students choosing this option will also have numerous learning opportunities outside the classroom, including supplemental seminars and workshops such as the Strategic Communication Speaker Series.
- Students anywhere in the United States can choose a hybrid option that includes live online classes along with five multi-day blocks of intensive study in New York City. Online courses utilize Columbia’s interactive learning platform, which allows students to connect with their instructors and fellow students. During in-person, multi-day study blocks, students have the opportunity to network with peers, faculty, and industry experts.
Who Should Apply?
An outstanding undergraduate academic record is required for admission, regardless of experience. Strong applicants are critical thinkers, with several years’ professional experience in a communications related role.
