Qingwei Li

Dr. Qingwei Li is a Machine Learning and AI Scientist. His main interests are AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Internet of Things and many applications of machine learning. At his current role, he builds state-of-art machine learning solutions in the cloud for companies across different industries. Prior to his current full-time role, he served as CEO of Transparent Analytics. During that role, he managed teams and helped his customers build analytical solutions from detecting various labels from audio files using artificial intelligence, to gather market intelligence from analyzing terabytes of texts using NLP. His Ph.D. research was about mathematical optimization and operations research. He has published several research papers in Computers & Operations Research, Transportation Research E, and International Journal of Production Research. He also has a broader interest in value investing and finance. He enjoys teaching and mentoring his students
