Qi Xia

ANCoRS Secretary | M.S. in Applied Analytics

Qi Xia is currently a student in the M.S. program in Applied Analytics at Columbia University and serves as the Secretary of the student group Association for Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (ANCoRS). Qi comes from China and is an international academic with a dedicated focus on Business Economics and Management at the undergraduate level and Applied Analytics at the graduate level. With a clear and ambitious vision for the future, he aspires to excel in the field of consultancy, believing firmly in the harmony of management, technical skills, and exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities to be paramount for success in this realm.

In his past professional journey, Qi has already marked his presence by working at Accenture as a business consultant specializing in supply chain management. His expertise helped various companies navigate and overcome logistical challenges, significantly enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of their logistic systems. Furthermore, his role at Alorair as a customer and technical support consultant for North America and European regions fortified his operational and customer service skills. 

Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Qi stands out as a compassionate advocate for homeless animals. He is the proud founder of Gypsy, a homeless animal rescue station, where he has facilitated the rescue of over 27,581 animals in just two years. His relentless efforts extend to organizing weekly adoption events, helping over 27,000 animals secure loving and safe homes. Qi’s multifaceted life reflects his unwavering commitment to both professional excellence and community service, epitomizing a balanced and purposeful life journey.
