Kadiatou Bah

Kadiatou Bah is a Bronx native and first-generation college graduate who earned her B.S. in Biology, summa cum laude, from CUNY Medgar Evers College in 2024. Her experiences in healthcare, biomedical research, and community service have shaped her interest in using data and technology to address complex challenges in healthcare.

At Medgar Evers College, Kadiatou served as president of the Medgar Evers Science

Association Club (MESA), where she developed her passion for leadership, mentorship, and service. She has also gained research and healthcare experience at institutions including the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Rutgers University, NYU Langone Health, and Montefiore Einstein.

Kadiatou aspires to become a physician and is passionate about the intersection of medicine, business, artificial intelligence, and healthcare analytics. She is particularly interested in how these fields can come together to advance innovation and improve the experiences and outcomes of patients and communities.

At Columbia University, Kadiatou hopes to strengthen her technical and analytical skills while gaining new perspectives on how data can be applied across industries. She looks forward to bringing her background in science and healthcare to the SPS community while learning from peers with diverse experiences and expertise. Kadiatou is pursuing an M.S. in Applied Analytics.
