Brian Saroken
Managing Director, Merrill Lynch ('25SPS)
Brian Saroken is a Managing Director with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in New York City. His fascination with financial markets began at an early age, and his first meaningful step toward a career in wealth management came as an intern with Salomon Smith Barney. He began his advisory career at Smith Barney and spent more than a decade with the firm through its transitions with Citigroup and Morgan Stanley before leaving to join Merrill Lynch in 2014.
Brian earned a Master in Wealth Management from Columbia University and holds the CFP®, CIMA®, and CPWA® designations. He leads an invitation-only advisory team that oversees several billion dollars in client assets for affluent families, executives, entrepreneurs, and retirees.
His practice focuses on comprehensive wealth management, including investment strategy, retirement income planning, estate and legacy coordination, and tax-efficient wealth management. He is particularly passionate about helping families navigate the opportunities and challenges that wealth can create across multiple generations while making thoughtful long-term financial decisions.
Brian and his team have been recognized by Forbes and Barron's for their work serving high-net-worth clients in New York.
Outside of work, Brian is continually humbled by his inability to avoid hitting golf balls into the water. He enjoys running while listening to podcasts and following the New York Yankees and Rangers through both the highs and the occasional gut-wrenching lows. Most importantly, he treasures time with his wife and two sons. Watching them grow into young adults has given him an even greater appreciation for the mentors, educators, and opportunities that helped shape his own journey.
