Arash Khatibi

Arash Khatibi has been working on machine learning, natural language processing, and online optimization problems for the past 10 years. He is currently a senior applied scientist in Amazon, developing models with a focus on deep learning, language models, and optimization. He has worked as a reviewer for European Journal of Operational Research, Naval Research Logistics, Journal of Quantitative Analysis in Sports, and Amazon Machine Learning Conference (AMLC).
Arash holds a PhD in Operations Research and a Master’s in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has won the 2nd place of IISE Pritsker Doctoral Dissertation Award for his research on sequential assignment problems.
