Adeel aspires to become a physician-scientist and a pioneer in health care, innovation, and business. His passion lies in harnessing the power of AI and technology to drive meaningful change and improve outcomes in the medical field.
At Hunter College, Adeel was the founder and president of the Healthcare Business Club (HBC) as well as vice president of the Investment & Trading Society (ITS). During undergrad, Adeel was heavily involved in research using innovative technology (e.g., VR and mobile apps) to improve medical training. He also worked on projects using predictive analytics to address heart failure.
“I believe a strong grasp of data analytics is critical for the future of medicine, especially as health care becomes increasingly data-driven with the advancements of AI,” says Adeel.
At Columbia’s M.S. in Applied Analytics program, Adeel hopes to develop his analytical skills while collaborating with diverse industry professionals to apply analytics across various contexts. Adeel also hopes to be a valuable member and leader of the Columbia community.
