Nick Weltmann

Nick Weltmann, FCAS, 1994, retired from AIG as Global Actuary and Underwriter for Warranty and Special Products. He joined AIU, the international arm of AIG, in 2003 as the Warranty Underwriting Manager and Actuary, where he managed the underwriting and actuarial work for programs in more than 50 countries. Prior to AIG, he was the countrywide Actuary and Underwriter for Kemper Warranty Services. He began his actuarial career at Continental Insurance in 1982, and after stints in commercial and personal lines, he became the Senior Profit Center Actuary for Marine Office of America (MOAC), which managed Ocean and Inland Marine and Warranty internationally. Nick is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, where he earned a Bachelor's in Nautical Science and The College of New Jersey, where he attained a Master's specializing in Mathematics.
