Paula Darling

Lecturer; CEO, Mined Systems Inc.

Paula Darling’s background is in financial services, technology, and data analytics and visualization. She has been an instructor in business and analytics for 18 years. 

Over the past 25 years, she has worked with enterprise-level corporations and institutions performing process and analysis, and developing software platforms to aggregate and analyze data, and transform data outputs into graphical visualizations for persuasive presentations and decision-making.

Darling is the CEO of Mined Systems Inc., a business analytics company that concentrates in the financial services, higher education, compliance, and portfolio management sectors. She has applied expertise in the crucial role that data holds for banks, lenders, insurers, rating agencies, and institutional investors. Her professional experience also includes VP of Risk Management and Acquisitions at GE Capital, and COO and Portfolio Manager for EduCap, an education finance lender that provided funding programs and securitized loans for liquidity. In addition to earning her B.A. and M.B.A. degrees, Darling also earned post-graduate certification from Cornell University.
