Diahanna L. Post

Lecturer, Applied Analytics; Vice President, Operations, Nielsen

Dr. Diahanna L. Post has spent her career in measurement, spanning public policy to consumer. At Nielsen, the world’s foremost global measurement company, she leads a team dedicated to transforming Nielsen's U.S. Media Operations into a world-class, cutting-edge operations team through machine learning, mathematical optimization modeling, predictive analytics, and automation. This transformation also entails helping people to move away from legacy mindsets and toward being bold and fearless about trying something new. In previous roles in Nielsen's Data Science function, she led a global team focused on delivering new methodology for retail and consumer measurement to 80+ countries and digitizing and automating data collection techniques, as well as leading the development and deployment of digital advertising and content measurement products. Prior to joining Nielsen, Dr. Post spent six years at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, where she researched the effectiveness of government programs for international peacekeeping and AIDS support, among others.
