Susann Foster

Susann Foster is a Facultative D&O and Professional Liability Underwriter at Munich Re, where she’s been for five years. While she recently became a Chicago resident, she is a proud New York native. Outside of her day to day underwriting responsibilities, she actively contributes to Munich Re’s DEI and young talent recruitment initiatives. She is also in the final term of her Master of Professional Studies in Insurance Management program at Columbia University. Pursuing this degree as a first generation student has been a dream come true, it’s allowed her to pursue her passion as a lifelong learner and helping her forge her path in the industry. Outside of insurance, she loves trying new foods, art, music, traveling, and spending time with loved ones!
