Ameen is a Senior Vice President and Alternative Investments Director with Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management division. Since joining the firm’s Financial Advisor Associate program in 2016, his practice has experienced explosive growth, earning recognition from Forbes as a Top Next-Gen Advisor and a Best-In-State Advisor in Florida for two consecutive years.
Ameen is part of a select group of advisors at Morgan Stanley to hold the “Founder Specialist” designation. This recognizes his extensive experience advising Entrepreneurs looking to maximize the value of their life’s work, whether by selling it, raising capital or passing it on, as well as managing their personal balance sheet post liquidity event.
Originally from Iraq, Ameen has lived in seven countries, a global upbringing that instilled in him a deep appreciation for people. He believes that while we all share more in common than we have differences, our relationship with money is unique. He takes great pride in the trust that successful founders and UHNW families place in him to navigate this sensitive topic.
Ameen earned his Master’s Degree in Wealth Management from Columbia University and his B.A. from Westminster College as a Davis UWC Scholar. He currently splits his time between Tampa, FL, and Boston, MA, serving clients across the country.
