Leading Cross-Cultural Global Organizations class welcomed distinguished guest speakers, Rob Parry-Jones and Jim McGuirk.

Our Leading Cross-Cultural Global Organizations class welcomed distinguished guest speakers Rob Parry-Jones, and Jim McGuirk.  Rob is an international business CEO whose leadership experience includes $1B+ global businesses in the bio-tech, medical device, and clean-tech industries.  He has lived and worked on six continents and is highly experienced in growing multi-cultural businesses.  Rob talked to the class about the role of culture in growing a business, leading the business, and in developing business teams. 

Jim McGuirk is the well-known international president emeritus of Unisys Corporation.  Under Jim’s leadership the company prospered as a Fortune 250 company with robust global expansion.  The class was given a case study exercise prior to his talk and Jim explained how he expanded business operations into Malaysia.  He explained how culture plays a role in organizing common objectives and focusing on growing and building strong international partnerships.
