Janet L. Walsh, DBA

Dr. Janet L. Walsh is the CEO and President of Birchtree Global, LLC and BPHR.  Birchtree globalizes strategy, operations, and employees to increase EBITDA and company valuation.  She leads teams of legal, financial, HR, and tax professionals on-the-ground in global startup operations.  She has worked on-site in 86 countries and all 50 states. Her corporate experience includes HR executive/VP leadership positions in Fortune 250 and billion-dollar multinationals.  

Dr. Walsh is a noted thought leader and speaker in global market entry and financial performance.  In 2024 she was honored at the Faculty and Scholars program at NYIT.  She was the co-chair of the 2024 CME-STEM Leadership Awards introducing Hubert Sagnières as the award winner.  In 2023 She and her team won the Outstanding Research Award at the Global Conference on Business and Finance Research.  In 2021 she was an Honoree at the Professional Organization Women of Excellence.  In 2019 she won the global leadership award and outstanding research award, at the Global Conference on Business and Finance for her work on managing high-performance bullies, a Global Journal of Business Research top ten download.  She is the architect of the World Trade Center Atlanta’s global market entry training program. 

She serves on The Explorers Club Board of Directors as Chair of Ethics and Governance, The Human Resources Certification Institute Board of Directors on the Finance Committee, and the D’Oyly Carte Foundation Board of Directors.She is the 2025 President of the Irish Business Organization of New York.

An avid artist, her watercolors have hung in the Booth Museum of Western Art.  She is a division winning equestrian regularly competing in hunter and dressage events.  As an amateur archeologist she found and excavated three hitherto unknown Mid-Archaic-Woodland period sites.

Dr. Walsh holds a BA in Economics from Bucknell University, an MBA from Loyola University and a DBA from the University of Phoenix.
