As Mixed-Status HIV Couples Weigh Risks, More Choose to Conceive the Old-Fashioned Way

Faculty Affiliate of Columbia’s M.S. in Bioethics program Dr. Mark Sauer notes that advances in anti-retroviral therapy have made unprotected sex with an HIV-positive partner less risky than previously thought, which means that more and more mixed-status couples are choosing to have biological children.
