Introducing the Columbia SPS Dean’s Fellowship Program

As the demand for skilled, forward-thinking professionals continues to rise, Columbia University School of Professional Studies (SPS) is deepening its commitment to helping students translate their potential into meaningful, real-world impact through the launch of the Columbia SPS Dean’s Fellowship Program, which provides up to $30,000 in support for master’s students beginning their studies in fall 2026.

Designed for applicants who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, professional promise, and a commitment to advancing their field, the Columbia SPS Dean’s Fellowship Program is open to full-time, part-time, and online students across all SPS master’s programs, including Project ManagementSustainability ManagementBiodiversity Data AnalyticsApplied AnalyticsStrategic Communication, and more. The program empowers emerging leaders to pursue advanced training at Columbia and accelerate their paths toward meaningful leadership roles.

Awards of up to $30,000 are applied toward tuition across multiple terms, offering sustained support throughout a student’s academic journey. All admitted students will receive a brief supplemental fellowship application after admission.

SPS reviews applications on a rolling basis, so applicants who submit their materials earlier in the cycle have the strongest opportunity to be considered for all available awards.
