Students who intend to apply for and enroll in Columbia University’s new Insurance Management master’s program are eligible to apply for scholarships worth up to $10,000. Online applications will open on February 1 and close on May 1.
The Spencer Educational Foundation is offering individual scholarships for insurance and risk practitioners who are or will attend graduate school part-time or online while also working full-time. Ideal for experienced and working professionals, the Insurance Management master’s program primarily consists of online, part-time courses. Students will also be required to complete an applied research project and attend two residencies in New York.
Dedicated to funding education for insurance and risk management professionals, Spencer awarded a total of more than $100,000 to 16 individuals last year. The foundation evaluates applicants based on their field of study, career objectives, work experience, leadership skills, and academic performance.
