Students, faculty, and special guests recently celebrated the end of the Fall 2019 term of the Actuarial Science master’s program. As many as 100 guests convened on Columbia University’s Morningside Heights campus to reflect on the gained knowledge, expanded networks, and career prospects of the more than 70 students who will graduate this term. Dr. Lina Xu, Senior Academic Director of the program, and Steven D. Armstrong, President of the Casualty Actuarial Society and Vice President at Allstate Insurance Company, delivered remarks.
