For International Students

International students are responsible for ensuring that their enrollment and course of study comply with all applicable immigration requirements and, where relevant, requirements in their home country.

Students in F-1 or J-1 status, or those who may require University sponsorship for student status, should consult Columbia University’s International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) before making enrollment or course selections. ISSO can provide the most current guidance regarding immigration requirements and how they may apply to an individual student’s circumstances.

For current information and guidance, please visit the International Students and Scholars Office.
