Louis Scenti

Lecturer, Human Capital Management

Louis Scenti has worked as a leadership, organization development, and talent management practitioner for more than 30 years. He has held senior roles in a number of premier financial services firms, working with senior management teams to drive organizational change aligned with business strategy. 

He is currently the Founder and President of Cognoscenti Associates, LLC, a human capital consultancy focused on executive and leadership coaching and organizational consulting.

Prior to founding Cognoscenti Associates, Louis served as Senior Vice President and Chief Talent Officer for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for 10 years. He led his team in building an integrated Talent Management Function supporting the NY Fed’s expanded role in a post-financial crisis world.

Prior to his work at the NY Fed, Louis was a senior member of Lehman Brothers' Global Talent Management group. He facilitated leadership programs and coached high potential leaders around the world. Before joining Lehman Brothers, Louis held roles of increasing responsibility for Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and the Chemical Banking Corporation.

He earned a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management and Development from the New School’s Graduate School of Management (now the Milano School), receiving the Isador Lubin award for academic excellence. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhode Island College in Speech and Theater where he attended on a talent scholarship. He holds a professional coaching Certification from iCoach New York and the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College (ICF Accredited.)
