Joshua Bellis

Lecturer

Joshua Bellis is the Global Talent Acquisition Programs, America's Recruitment Leader & Chief of Staff to the SVP, Global Head of Talent Acquisition at PTC. Bellis leads the development and execution of strategies to support the overall PTC business strategy, talent acquisition global transformation and heads all recruitment in the Americas. Prior to PTC Joshua spent time in the HR Tech start-up industry building an early-career Recruitment Process Outsourcing function, leading sales and consulting as a subject-matter expert in diversity recruitment strategy and early career pipeline development. Joshua influenced the development of SaaS (Software as a Service) product development in the HR talent space and worked hand-in-hand with product designers and developers to create unique solutions and analytics to some of the most pressing challenges for HR leaders.

Bellis is a senior talent leader with 16 years' experience driving internal change and transformation in global talent acquisition functions and continues to advise start-up CEOs/founders. Joshua spent years leading a not-for-profit focused on supporting independent college journalism and helping students launch careers in journalism, many of which appear regularly on cable and network news and have bylines at major publications in the US and Europe and Asia. Bellis held a dual role in Product Development and Talent Acquisition at Fox News leading millennial product research/strategy, aspects of digital and mobile election strategy, early-career recruitment, diversity, employer brand and HR technology transformation for Fox News. Joshua later joined Nasdaq as the first Global Head of Early Careers, Diversity Recruitment and Employer Branding where he was awarded the highest internal award a "Platinum CEO Award" by Nasdaq CEO, Adena Friedman for his reimagining of early-career recruitment and transformation in only one year. Joshua's leadership led to Nasdaq's intern program being named a US top 100 internships based on the program structure, diverse make-up and other factors. Additionally, Joshua was awarded a Gold PPAI for work in innovative branding and marketing techniques.

Joshua Bellis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wabash College and a Master of Education from The George Washington University. Bellis is a lecturer in the Human Capital Management Program at Columbia University's School of Professional Studies.
