Berit Suba

Lecturer, Wealth Management; Senior Vice President - Investment Officer, Wealth Management

Berit has been in the financial services industry since 1995, starting her career in credit and investment research at Moody’s and J.P. Morgan in New York. She transitioned into Wealth Management in 2010 and works as a Financial Advisor at a leading Wealth Management firm. Berit is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional. To achieve this significant designation, she completed demanding educational programs, passed rigorous examinations and then met stringent experience requirements. Berit also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor certification, which has expanded her ability to provide her clients with enhanced retirement, Social Security, and Medicare planning. Moreover, Berit was part of the inaugural class to earn her CSRIC™ designation, the first major financial credential dedicated specifically to SRI increasing her capability to work with sustainable, responsible, and impact (SRI) investments.

Berit earned her bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College and her M.B.A. from Columbia University. Berit is committed to helping improve education and health and reducing poverty and inequality worldwide. She has taught English as a Second Language in New York City and volunteered helping women start micro businesses in Ghana, West Africa and San Francisco. Berit enjoys international travel, cooking, running in moderation, spending time with her two sons and spectating their sporting events.
