Due to the winter storm, Columbia University will shift to remote instruction on Monday, January 26, for all classes on the Morningside and Manhattanville campuses. Students will receive additional information on how to access their remote courses.

As admissions to our programs are highly competitive, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. 

Degree Program Qualifications

  • This program is ideal for individuals who are seeking to switch careers and/ or build their careers as technology leaders. Diverse industries and specializations are represented in every incoming class.
  • U.S. bachelor’s degree or international equivalent. If your post-secondary credentials are from an institution outside the United States, the Office of Admissions requires you to submit all post-secondary credentials (undergraduate and graduate) to one of the following third-party verification agencies, World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), or The Evaluation Company (TEC, formerly SpanTran) for a course-by-course evaluation for admission consideration. The Office of Admissions will use this evaluation to determine if your undergraduate degree is the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree.
  • Please review the English language proficiency requirements under the Application Requirements here to determine if proof of English language proficiency is required.
  • Demonstrated ability for critical thinking and analysis.
