The Strategic Communication: International Perspectives program is postponed until 2024.

  1. Email a copy of your current resume to cp2746 [[at]] columbia [[dot]] edu (cp2746[at]columbia[dot]edu) for consideration.
  2. The program office will review your information to ensure it meets our admission criteria and contact you shortly thereafter.
  3. Upon acceptance into the program, you will be provided a formal invitation email with a link to submit the $1,000 deposit or full tuition payment to hold your seat in the program.
  4. Registered participants will receive specific program information approximately 4 to 6 weeks prior to the program date.

Visa Information

If you require a visa, you may qualify for a B1 business visa. Note: Some embassies may ask that you apply for a student visa, but because this program is non-degree, professional development and participants are visiting the US on business, you should request the B1 visa.

U.S. State Department guidelines for the B1 visa may be found on the Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs website. SPS complies with those guidelines as well as the University policy that prohibits a University representative or its designee to contact the consulate or embassy directly on behalf of a participant. However, SPS will provide you with a standard letter to present to the embassy or consulate, if needed. If you would like to request this letter, please contact the Office of Enrollment Management.
