The Psychology Certificate is a rigorous program for students who are preparing for graduate study, but did not major in the subject as undergrads. The program provides valuable preparation for Psy.D. and Ph.D. programs, including psychology, education, management, public health, and social work.

Overqualified applicants (those with an extensive background in psychology) may not be considered by the committee, and may be recommended to look into the Visiting -- Postbaccalaureate program for individual coursework.
