Shaun Munroe

Student, M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution

Shaun Munroe is a current M.S. Negotiation and Conflict Resolution student at Columbia University. Shaun is passionate about dialogue facilitation on race relations, climate change, and international humanization and relationship building. In his undergraduate years, he studied Psychology and Sociology as he worked at World in Conversation, a center for public diplomacy at Penn State University, where he facilitated hundreds of hours of race relations and international relations dialogues. After working at Penn State University, Shaun worked as a teacher for a few years in Baltimore, Maryland teaching students in grades 6-10 about diversity, identity, and community. Following graduation, Shaun hopes to be able to work internationally using conflict resolution to help people around the world connect in more meaningful and productive ways.
