Janya Williams

Janya holds a Bachelor of Arts from John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she studied Law and Society. Before joining the School of Professional Studies, Janya worked as an advisor at Bronx Regional High School, where she provided social and emotional support to students and assisted them with their post-secondary goals. Janya has also served as the criminal justice coordinator and case manager for Help USA, providing support to the mental health homeless population. She also has extensive admissions experience from her time at Fordham University and Bronx Community College. Janya is a proud Bronx native and still resides there. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and indulging in comfort foods.
