Allison Ladue

Associate Dean of Admissions

Allison Ladue is the Associate Dean of Admissions at Columbia University's School of Professional Studies. She was formerly the Administrative Director for Graduate Program in Sustainability Management and Science at the Earth Institute, Columbia University. This role included directing the daily operations of the M.S. in Sustainability Management, M.S. in Sustainability Science and sustainability certification programs offered jointly between the Earth Institute and the School of Professional Studies. Allison began at Earth Institute, Columbia University in 2010, serving as the Special Assistant to the Executive Director and the program coordinator for the Energy and Environment Concentration at the School of International and Public Affairs. She started as the Program Manager for the M.S. in Sustainability Management program in 2011, assuming the role of Assistant Director in 2012 and Associate Director in 2014. She has managed the development and launch of the certifications in Sustainability Analytics, Sustainable Water Management and Sustainable Finance as well as the launch of the M.S. in Sustainability Science. Prior to her work in higher education, Allison worked for several years in museum education. She also has experience in managing continuing legal education programs. She holds a B.A. in History from Boston University and an M.A. in American Studies from Columbia’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
